There are some similarities.
I wouldn't go crazy with the comparisons though.
Either group sounds more like Belly than each other.
Except that Eisley is THE best!! Laughing

Are we talking vocally or instrumentally?

Thus far...I hear the instruments on Eisley to be more fresh and the Cardigans more refined as far as rock-pop goes. Then again I ain't got an experted ear on the Cardigans. Though, good band.

If you really listen to the more slow songs on the cardigans "first band on the moon" (im not to sure about their other cd)cd i think you would definatly agree completely. The songs sound the same vocally but its really mostly the slow songs ive heard.

Ok, I just followed your instructions and I agree.
(BTW, Listen.com's Rhapsody service is quite handy
for these situations. Nothing like having 25,000 albums
at your fingertips!)
The main difference I can tell is the Cardigans have
a hint of 70s mod in their sound.
I hope Eisley has many more years of success than the Cardigans did. Very Happy
