Am I the only one having a problem with everything music on Myspace? It's driving me mad. It wouldn't even load for me. Even after hearing it's a mess, I still want to see it. Rg, Myspace. I was worried i'll never see this hated version ever. EDIT: k so I saw the video for the first time ever. I kinda liked the dialogue, as it gave it that cheesey 50s movie feel. I'm sure subtitles would be fine though. And I really enjoyed the shot of Sherri pressing the pedal, but I question the timing it was used in regards to the song and considering the speed at which she's playing immediately after the slowed-down visual. I think that made sense. |

I felt like this when watching it:   
What does space have to do with this song? I always thought about IWP as a song about losing someone. Death or even just breaking up with someone. Really weird. Really. I was totally prepared to hate this. IWP has a special place in my heart (see Katrina video sticky). Actually, I liked it a lot. I saw Eisley as the house band in a space port bar. (More people in the bar would have worked better). Dialogue and zooming in on personal conversations is the normal thing to do in bar scenes. Mos Eisley teases and subtle references would have been cool. Also...the space suit was very old fashioned for whatever future this was. The band looked fabulous. They look more adult. Interesting. The song works with whatever. Because the song is the best song ever. |
