I don't hear the influence at all. That band sounds like a collaboration of Brendon Small and Reese Roper gone awry.

I don't like Christian Metal at all - some bands seem to be Vatican Council propaganda to counter the rising paganism.
I don't see why we should have such distinctions.

From what I know I'm the only metal guy who listens to Eisley Laughing

Not to mention the nearly blasphemous band name.

I dunno, I think it's cool. My second favorite artist (but I don't like him nearly as much as Eisley) is tobyMac which is Christian hiphop. If Christian Metal people like Eisley, I think that's awesome.

I don't get tobymac. I saw him at a festival 4 years ago and just couldn't get into it like most of the people there (who went crazy for him). I'm not much of a "hiphop" (if you want to call tobymac that) fan and so that might be the answer why.

I'm that way with Jeremy Camp. I just don't get it, the goofy beard, or his weak song writing.

I totally understand that...most Christian music is repetitve and Jeremy Camp is certainly no exception. But tobyMac's music sounds cool and it's a different style than most of the acoustic guitar sound of Christian music.
