I wasn't sure how I felt about you at first, but despite myself I've come to love and cherish you wholeheartedly as much or more as Room Noises.

I can't get you out of my head, your tunes are so beautiful and relevant to my life and all life in general.

I'm thankful for you and I hope we grow together over time.

love, your Listener.

Me too. Different like in a major software upgrade. There's always a learning curve but you know your life will be better because of it. And the next one will even bring new surprises. I don't see the band settling.

Woo! Thanks for the friendly responses... I seriously feel like this album has become a friend of sorts. I know that sounds kooky, but it's true.

Combinations grew on me, but in a wierd way: the songs i liked at the begining i now love, but i songs i disliked at the begining i now hate! and i still think "the sound" of the record (production, engineering, mixing, mastering, whatever) is lacking, especially after hearing the songs live! oh well…

And I'm honestly really strangely attached to ICBTFY. I guess if I've never 100% believed music can help people (though I always have believed that) then that song would be the one to prove it. I have my own personal thing relating to it... but somehow besides all relevancy it's simply really cathartic.

I love the whole album though.

I love the whole album though.

I love ICBTFY also, probably my 2nd favorite track behind Ten Cent Blues, and it contains my favorite moment of the entire album, the bridge that Chauntelle sings.

same here, I didn't like Combinations that much but after months and months of constant hearing I've started to appreciate and have become addicted to it. Especially 10 cent blues and If You're Wondering.

So weird, I loved the songs when I heard them live, before the album come out.

Even I love Room Noises, I think I got more obsessed in listening Combinations, than listening to Room Noises.

I still think the best Eisley is still the real early stuff Head Against The sky, Blackened Crown, Dream of Me, Pretender etc.

I lke Combinations especially the title track and Come Clean. There are just a few songs that seem so rushed and there is really nothing special about them Go Away, and Come Clean for example. I don;t know.

What I would look forward to ina third album is a complete shift. Showing Eisley can do something TOTALLY different.

If You're Wondering is great to sing acapella... quietly... to yourself. With the window open on a sunny day.
