it was fine in the hey day of FM. But even so much as hearing her sing "landslide" live from a few years back is hard to listen to. and her version of "silent night" makes me want to poke my eardrums. i don't know, I just have never been a fan of her voice. stacy, on the other hand, is a different story. Agreed. Stevie's voice is horrid IMO. She might be a fantastic songwriter, but her voice is just not my cup of tea. I adore Stacy's cover though. |

I made the mistake of going to a Fleetwood Mac concert last spring, and Stevie's voice made me want to die a little on the inside. Focusing on the instrumentals and lyrics was the only thing that made the concert enjoyable. Obviously, I prefer Stacy's version |

So, being the good daughter I am, I went with her. _________________ http://twitter.com/KayDJ I've been a fan and LC lurker since 2003, so I'm not the newbie I appear to be |

I wouldn't be interested in seeing them on tour without Christine McVie like this incarnation, her mellow voice gave them balance. I like Stevie's singing as part of the Mac but a little of that goes a long way. _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |
