I NEED the studio version of Troubled Waters. Also, what is the nameless song they played at the Hotel Cafe that's kind of upbeat and goes "a-woah-oh-oh-oh" a lot? Descriptive, I know. Looking at the tracklisting and the style of the song, I wanna say it could be Stampede. However, say something and chemical reaction seem likely too, but I lean more towards stampede. Also, just listened to the song, but didn't get to hear it well since I'm at work, but I think I like it better than when we were young _________________ Oneironaut http://www.facebook.com/ChengBand |

So so good. I've been really stressed lately, this CD is the only thing I've been looking forward to haha. I can't wait to hear the whole thing! _________________ www.kailahandler.bandcamp.com |

I'll take Enya over Dido, and being 10 years removed from the peak of her fame doesn't mean Dido isn't modern does it? Basically saying it sounds ethereal, in a classical/ new age kind of way, with pretty vocals by those comparisons isn't necessarily a bad thing. _________________ yup, that's my name. Yeah, the sucre stuff has kind of a more dissolving quality to its structure though that I'm still trying to place reference-wise. Especially this new track (but it comes through in Laugh it off a bit too). Not coming right now though, and I've gotta get work done. |

I don't think I ever said it, here or elsewhere out of fear, but Laugh It Off was the best take of the Fleetwood Mac downtempo vibe I've heard in a long time. To me it totally fit that motif. I prefer Hiding Out of the two Sucre tunes, that's more what I was hoping for. I think they'll compare favorably to Joanna Newsome and her ilk, which, to me, is the modern comparison. _________________ yup, that's my name. Even though I heard versions of this song just from performances people posted online, I have to say I'm still pleasantly surprised by the track. And still really liking it. As an opening track, I do hope this is just the beginning to the lushness that I have a feeling the rest of the album will have. On the track itself, this is the common go to and not the only person to do it...but it does remind me of Bjork with the layering of vocals to enhance the musical soundscape. Anyway, excited to hear the entire album. |

YES, it does, I just didn't want to be the one to say it. I'm glad that it does though. They did it well, they did it right. _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. LC > FB = personal fave = Eisley fans should dig it |
