^^ that piano riff is part of why i love it so much. very much like old stacy demos, and winding through sucre as well! here's my best go at lyrics (though i hope i'm right with "little impish one"?! fantastic phrase.) Little wicked boy, come out and shake my hand. I come from where you come from I’ve seen what you’ve seen Come lay under my wing, fade into the night I love you, I can save you if you believe Drink the water from the mud little boy, Drink the water from the mud Tell me that you don’t belong little boy Tell me that you don’t belong. Little impish one, remember what we planned: we won’t hear whistles calling when we are out to sea. Come lay under my wing, morning’s over the shore I love you, I can teach you if you believe. Drink the water from the mud little boy, Drink the water from the mud Tell me that you don’t belong little boy Tell me that you don’t belong. {Instrumental} |

This incredible. I love it so much. Holy s***, dudes, I feel like I've been waiting for this day forever. Potential reached. Damn Right. Haters Bow Down. also, I think this will be the moment when Eisley gets picked back up as an opening act for MAJOR national tours, if they want it. Deservedly so. _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. LC > FB = personal fave = Eisley fans should dig it |

Oh. My. Lanta. I may have just peed my pants. I knew Eisley teaming up with Jeremy would make things great. But seriously, guys. This is so trucking good. Eisley should have been let off their leash a lot earlier than this because it's just wonderful. Just... Yes. A thousand times over, yes. _________________ cynlovescandy wrote: kulvir wrote: I bet R. I just want to say, that, I like the piano riff, there's the upper octave and the main chords, well enough, but Weston is killing it. I'm wondering if they recorded his main tracks and then looped some, and overdubbed some of the fills because the effects on the crashes and splashes makes them sound programmed, but in a good way. Chauntelle's lead in the 1st verse is awesome too, and the bass carries the vibe so that the strings aren't overpowering when they come in. Goodness Gracious, Jeremy Larson is getting a tweet from me. He deserves some props too. _________________ yup, that's my name. I am just going to assume that Stacy isn't (sadly) singing "shave my hand" in the first verse. This leaves me feeling waaaay better about Currents than when listening to that 30 second preview of the song Currents did. Do you guys think if I posted the song on SYP we'd get it for free like Smarter? Haahah...I wont. |

Do you guys think if I posted the song on SYP we'd get it for free like Smarter? Haahah...I wont. I think that might get your fired from your job as unofficial Midwest Publicist for Eisley Inc. They gave you a pass the first time. This time you might feel the wrath. Don't do it. And there needs to be a meme with this picture and says, "DON'T TRIP... WE GOT THIS." _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. LC > FB = personal fave = Eisley fans should dig it |

I can 100% honestly say I didn't even think about the fact that it was a bad idea and was probably illegal. I was just super excited about it and was like "I must post this. Must...post." and then a day or so later I was like "Oh...oops". At least Boyd was understanding (or at least he seemed to be in our texts) . |
