quite a pointless review really. the reviewer sounds like they are straight from nursery school. no real comment of the single and should really give up journalism about now, right now. yeah 4 stars n all, very good but they dont really comment on the ep, maybe they were given a strict word limit. hmmm. _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |

thats how a lot of the blender and maxim music reviews are, from what i have noticed........just like a one minute kind of ramble after listening to it without really coming to a point about the album.........sometimes they sound like a positive ramble and then they will give the cd 2 stars _________________ "Without music, life would be a mistake." -Friedrich Nietzsche |

Thanks for the image Astronomyluna . That's very cool. Here's my take - yes, the Blender review is short and doesn't really scratch the surface, but I'm pretty blown away by the fact that they were given a 4 star (only 12 appeared) rating out of I think about 60. I thank the writer for that...and honestly, I think it's very decent. Truth - Blender really likes Eisley. Feature article on Eisley coming out next month... at least I hope, since Thom York is on the cover. (!@#$%!$#!) Of course that's great for Eisley because, in some twisted way, it makes a connection between the two; Everyone knows Eisley has an addiction/affection for RadioHead . I think Blender knows it and is showing favor by giving Eisley placement in this particular issue. Also, I'm sure that Thom sells. (more in people's hands) This would rock extremely hard on my face. These are all the ramblings and electro-head impulses by brain. I could be totally wrong. I'm allowed to be wrong. This is my Xanga. "Can you tell which three members of Eisley are sisters?" Hahah, they made a joke...yeah...funny. _________________ "What's with these homies dissing my girl?" - Weezer "I think I know I mean a yes but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree." - Beatles My Livejournal |

Yeah, mediocre reviewer, but an awesome final rating for an ep. I got this 2 weeks ago too, funny story. For some odd reason, I started getting blender in the mail.. and I still have no idea why. I've never bought or subscribed to it, much less subscribed to any magazine for several years. Then out of nowhere.. blender starts popping up. Every single month. Also the meter thing says I'll keep getting it well into next year.. so hey.. free magazines with eisley and radiohead in them! |

I liked his review, but who is this guy? (Andrew - give the people the page number) He's referring to a tiny blurb in the same Blender issue. I had forgotten about the angst rockers. That's laughable. and WHERE IS CMJ? Grandaddy is on the cover. There's an article or something on the band but we can't find it. Oh, wait, I'm not in Tyler anymore. Surely it's here in LA. nevermind. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
