Disgusting commercialism exploting the sentiment of love. I find it funny that people buy each other junk like huge bears that are cool for like 3 seconds and then gather dust for a few years. _________________

Hate is a bit strong but I voted hate it as I'm closer to that than loving it. Hallmark holidays all turn my stomach. Heres a beautiful bouquet of flowers my lovely, because I'm expected to? Let's go on a date and be romantic because this is the day for doing that? Everyday is Valentines Day if you are in love, and commercials telling me to put out the romance cheapens it. That said, it is a fun day for the kids. I put Halloween along side Valentines Day in that respect. |

I think it's cute if you make gifts or bake tasty treats for your partner on Valentine's Day 
But yeah, don't buy your partner teddy bears and glitter pens buy them A Clockwork Orange and obscene European literature! *thumbs up* Just make sure you do other random lovely things all the year round! I don't know why I feel like I must mention this, but every morning my mommarella (yeah, I made that word up) bakes either cinnamon rolls or some form of brekfast baked thing. Anyway, I guess it's Valentine's Day for me everyday then. _________________
