Vegemite is black spreadable stuff made from yeast extract,its similar to marmite/promite but does taste different.You won't find many people outside of here(australia) that likes it.people put it in sandwiches or on toast,sometimes with cheese.I personally don't like it and the thought of putting it with cheese makes my stomach turn

I will say though foreiners usually spread it on wrong which makes it absolutely horrid,they usually spread ot on in huge amounts like you do with peanut butter,whereas it's supposed to be done with a very light layer.

either way I don't like it
