...last night i couldn't sleep after i had been tossing for like 5 hours and at about 5:30-ish i got my cd player and some headphones and popped in room noises...and i listened to it a total of 3 1/2 times before i got so tired that i didn't know what song i was listening too..so i turned of my cd player and fell asleep right away...hmm 2 weeks of not being able to go to sleep..and i just listen to eisley and i almost pass out...silly-ness....

That's awesome. They're so soothing.

A few years ago when I broke my leg, for the first night I didn't have any painkillers or anything. So I had my mom go upstairs and get my CD player and my copy of Jewel's Spirit, and it was the only thing that dulled the pain.

I would think listening to Jewel might cause you more pain, hah.

Eisley does wonders for a restless soul.

I do that too, except I'm too busy singing the lyrics (playing each song 2 times) and I have to play the cd 3 times before I start being less excited.
I sit and make 'ballet figures' and I mimic flowers and unicorns...

room noises is also great for waking up easily.

I love the live version of Lady Of the Wood from the music fest... It gets me in that tranquil, dreamy state...

a few nights ago, at 4 am, my step-grandpa was staying the night, and came upstairs and got mad at me for listening to it for like the 60th time in a row, and asked me what the hell it was. he called it "gong music" .. Shocked

excuse him -- he's from oklahoma. he cant help it.

Yeah I sometimes listen to them when I can't sleep. It's weird cause every time I listen to them before I sleep. I usually have a dream about them.

Just Like We Do is a great bed time song. But then when it's done, and I'm all peaceful Plenty of Paper comes on and wakes me up again.

Eisley as night music doesn't really work for me. I tend to listen to more ambient/electronica music when I go to bed, particularly the Lost In Translation soundtrack as of late.

I arranged a playlist on my iPod with all the songs off OGG to listen to when I'm trying to sleep, it really does help.
Very peaceful.
