Phil Keaggy played in chapel this morning. i don't know if anyone here has ever heard him. he is a Christian guitarist but he is seriously the greatest guitarist i have ever seen. he does all sorts of crazy things with harmonics and slaps the guitar and makes it make all sorts of really pretty noises. holy cow is he awesome.

does anyone one else know/love him?

Phil is still known as one of the best guitar players (by all the players) on the planet. He's not human. His vast library of tones, styles, methodology, diversity, tones, disciplines, etc. should move him beyond his limiting stereotype - as a Christian guitarist. If he was a plumber, would his plumbing be Christian? I think he's amazing and have followed his career - seen him in the 70's numerous times in giant venues...but I still wish he'd have moved out into the mainstream where others could behold the magnificant gift. But...it wasn't my life. and, I'm ok with that.
