funny thing - i've heard an interview with Lennon where he thinks it's the worst thing they did (side 2) and i've heard Ringo say it was his favorite thing they did (probably because he got the cool drum solo).

oh yeah, if i could only have one Beatles record it would be Revolver - that was my vote.

Abbey Road FTW!

I read in a recent music magazine that Ringo hates "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" but loves "Yer Blues". Confused Rolling Eyes

But his reasons seems to do more with the manner in which they were recorded, MSH being one of Paul's exhaustive take-after-take sessions and YB being a live "one-take" sorta deal.

Paul's obsessive work ethic was totally worth it though.

Magical Mystery Tour will constantly be on the playlist. Revolver is a very close second though. Revolver was the first Beatles album I swiped from my parents when their backs were turned.

Most people use it as "For the win", but the way I grew to know it was from The Vines and their single from Winning Days... F--- the World.

is the ATU soundtrack made up of Beatles covers?
i've yet to hear a Beatles cover that improved on the original.

Yeah it is. But I don't care what the original songs sound like. Cool

hmm, what could cause this?

did the kids in grade school knock you over the head with old Beatles records thus making you have a psychological block on Beatles, associating pain with Beatles, thus not being able to listen to them?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Joe Cocker's cover of The Beatles' "With A Little Help From My Friends" is 100% better than the original.

it actually begins with "you never give me your money".. it's not only the "golden slumbers" medley (if that's what you were saying.) so it's 9 songs that run into each other. but I love it, I don't care if John Lennon didn't.

technically it start with because. here comes the sun isnt part of the deal. but because is. not all the songs meld into each other. but it is the best 20 someodd minutes of music you will ever hear
