Hi. It's boyd. I'm not sure if anyone remembers me... but, the new word banging around in my skull (lacking in matter) these days is: RADIO. There are other words in there too, like survival... which is one reason i haven't been around much lately. ANYWAY... So, it seemed timely to receive this email (read below) a few days after hearing about faint rumblings from Sinister and others - across the pond about airplay. Anyway, I think radio should be the new battleground -right? Because, it's our weakest point. Eisley has become a formidable force to reckon with on the web... while the airwaves are void of their work. Even though "Indie Access" has been web radio for a while, it's still valid. In fact, well, that's another discussion, but here's an opportunity; it might seem small, but that's where we're at. The goal is not to become big; the goal is to help ween Americans off sucky music. Supporting indie stations like this one is also a good thing i think. These guys are Eisley fans, they come to shows, they've done interviews, etc. http://www.indieaccessradio.com/votingpoll.php Thanks. I have more to say on this subject but... i'll have to return on a better day. Thanks yawl! _____________________________________ Boyd, I hope that this email finds you well. I'm writing to inform you that Eisley's "Marvelous Things" is up in our LISTENER VOTING POLL <http://www.indieaccessradio.com/vote.php> this week. The Top 5 vote getters each week receive a bump in airplay and move on into the next weeks poll (with a song being retired, from the poll only, after a maximum of an 8 week run). Also, if you have any "insider" band news that you might pass along, we can list it in our news ticker. Hoping to see you all at your Atlanta date in March. i'm working on looking into what i said about in the last 'pm'...should have something worked out by next week. : ) **EDIT** seems like you can only vote once. so we need everyone to vote. yeah, the one-vote thing is sucky, but i guess this way you can just spread the message further and stuff. _________________ <3. |

It's not UGO Style, but it is a fair system to all bands. And no need to sit in front of the computer click, click, click... Just vote once a day and go on with your day. I like it. |

How many people did we get voting on that UGO thing? How far down is Eisley on this poll? Let's get moving, people! _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

When I casted my vote Eisley was fifth, so they're safe right now. Let's hope that people take notice to this thread (I'm sure many will) and remember to vote once a day. Speaking of the voting system, I like it. I think it's a great way to ensure fairness and equality, but then again, it could also be a real pain, so yeah.... _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. If you cast a vote, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and it tells you that you can come back and vote in "24 hours". Ergo, one vote per day. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me.
