Disclaimer: Nothing that I report about the band is to be considered World News, but I like to keep you guys informed...as I would want to be; that's all. If it bores you, I understand. From now on, I am going to address any news that's forum-worthy in "Announcments". Otherwise, many will never see news buried in Blogs. In turn, those that aren't interested in the goings on of the band can avoid this section at will. If you have questions - post them out there in the eisleyblog area...and the collective mass of eisleyoids will pounce upon them, including me or anyone from the band side who knows the answer. NEWS: Marvelous Things ep Available on-line@Apple iTunes & other digital services on October 28th and available with "dreamy artwork" at your favorite record store on December 29th . (this is WB provided copy, ok...I'm just their puppet....just kidding) For those that want to get a cd eArLy, you have to come to one of the shows on this tour! We WILL have them in our hands ("it's in our hands...it's in our hands...") ...starting in DC and at every subsequent show across this great nation. I know...I know...I told you they were tossing around the 18th of November as a release date, but I also said, "don't hold your breath". Cool, that you can download the goods though, right? Who needs that crappy old 4c front and back eisley art printed on nice, smooth, uncoated stock like Laughing City... no way. I won't even show you what it looks like... no way. The next announcement will be another news blurb and subsequently...on and on and so forth.Unless, of course, I don't feel like this is working. Then I'll try something else. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. YEY!!!!! Y'all should do one of those midnight release parties like they did for the 4th and 5th Harry Potter books. Those are fun. I've had very good experiences with those. I'm just kidding, but it sounds cool. Yeah, anyway I'm incredibly excited about the news. Again, YEY!!! _________________ Blaahg Mahspace Audioscrobbler |

I'm so glad I have the iTunes music thing. So close ... There's a thread about the possiblity of a release party elsewhere (I think if you look down, it won't be too hard to find). _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

hrm.. maybe I should have a release party here.. a handful of friends, surrounding a circular table, eating guacamole... with the Laughing City EP as the Eisley rep. for the party... and we'd all be there, kinda keeping away, but inching towards the EP, slowly, and cautiously... (as if *it* were a rockstar), some of us may even begin to open our mouths to try and say something interesting, only to shut them almost instantly for fear of everything coming out wrong and as a consequence, most of us will end up looking like guppies. Eventually everyone will return to the chips and guacamole... heads slightly down, and eyes lowered, in defeat (you know, by the EP ) wow... how lame... someone should get a wheelchair.. actually if I did have a release party here with my friends, it would be quite a bit more lively than that, and it wouldn't be at my house 'cause there are too many breakable things... anywayyyyy ... I suppose that means no new EP on sale for the tour then eh? oh well, i'll ride my local record store and make sure they have it in stock as soon as it's released hehe _________________ "strength is just an accident arising from the weakness of others." ~Joseph Conrad --------------- |

I'm not just saying this, but Warner Bros. is amazing. Their production dept. hasn't even received the art work yet....pending all the routing and proofing in various depts...now back in our camp for final revision - which is like...an apostrophe edit and a mispelling. The rest of the concept, design/layout, art...everything is all generated from the band side of this relationship...(as opposed to the label) and they'll have these CD's printed and finished for you guys. Why? Of course, because they want to sell CD's, but also because they are very committed to the band and this project. I said this from the beginning, and I'll say it now...(they don't read this stuff....I'm not sucking up) Warner Bros. is the best label in the industry. I believe that. It starts at the top and goes all the way down. It's totally the people that make WB great. Their values and vision - and their love for music. Don't take my advice. We're really just newbies. If you ever get a chance, ask Wayne Coyne what he thinks. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
