i feel like i should repost in the newbie thread. i've been out of the loop for over a week! and now there's so many posts unread, it's overwhelming (and kinda sad - is that weird? and sad in its own way?).

so just post everything important here, so i can keep up with the important stuff. Wink

hello, my name is ali. and i am new to the forums (again).

My fish tank is growing algae. I bet that's pretty important to my fish.

you should get one of those suction-face fish that suck algae off everything.

but don't get one from petsmart - they sell diseased fish. i got one to put in with my fish (esteban), and they both died in a couple days. and he was such a healthy fish.

I had four petsmart tiger stripes for like six months. Then one went crazy and ate the other three fish. I'm not kidding.

I was a week away from moving, so I didn't do anything about it. I left the tank at my parents house (didn't drain it, but didn't run the pump or anything). I came back almost two months later expecting a nasty cleaning job, and the fishie is still there. He looked a little psycho, but none the worse for wear. I plugged in the pump, gave him some food, and he's been fine for a couple of months now.

A week! that's all??
I've been out of the loop for a month!!
Ever since they went on tour I've had family things keeping busy (and off line for the most part). Now that Turkey Day has come and gone, my life is slowly returning to normal, which means I can check out the Eisley site on a more regular basis. It'll take me forever to catch back up, though.
Oh well...

it's cool, there are those of us who remember the good ole days of two months ago. we keep everything alive in our memories, a living history to be passed down through the ages, recorded for posterity, taught to our children's children, lived through vicariously, eaten with pancakes blah blah

what were we talking about?
