Hey. sitting here waiting for the Eisley e-blast to go out. Sent it to WB only moments ago. Anyway... Did any of you guys see Gwyneth Paltrow on Ellen DeGeneress (sp?) this morning? We got a call from Chelle who's been gracious enough to host this forum in LA this morning saying that Gwyn was talking up Eisley. If anyone can, please tape it. Would love to have the little clip or quote on the forum for fun and amusement. Woah...eblast just hit..5:48pm cool. pressure off. I had a lot of people counting on me. gulp. Anyway, I was told the conversation between Gwyn ( i call her Gwyn...just kidding) went something like: "..blah, blah, blah...your boyfriend...blah, blah, blah, when the opening band finished right before Coldplay came out...blah, blah, blah... and Gwyn inserted: "I know...Eisely, yeah, they're amazing...blah, blah, blah..." and Ellen said, "oh...the girls?" or something like, "yeah..blah, blah, blah...." That's all I know. But it's great publicity for the band and gosh... we're so thankful to Chris and...well, Gwyn... We're constantly being told about stuff they say about Eisley. And let's not forget Dan Green (sound engineer/mixer/producer) and the rest of that band - Guy/Will/Johnny - who have been so encouraging. bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. THAT IS SO AWESOME dude. I don't know though, the fact that i have yet to see ellen's show once is kind of frustrating me considering i've heard so much about it. Maybe i should learn to check my local listings _________________ http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=amiedarlin |

i was just about to post a thread about this. i saw the show when it aired here in Mississippi at 3pm. it was really cool that Gwyneth and Ellen talked about the band, cause Ellen seemed to really like them. and she always knows her guests lyrics and track lists...i think she's a big music fan. so im sure she payed lots of attention to Eisley when she saw them perform with Coldplay. maybe someone in the Eisley camp should send the show a promo pack with a t-shirt as a thank you for mentioning them. you never know...she might mention the gift, and thats another 30 seconds of free, mass advertising:-) just an idea... -arlan http://www.terranaomi.com http://www.devoted.to/goldenboy |

glassuser. dude. I know...that was cool...we were all like back and forth...you and me and Gwyneth - on line; and she was all like, "i love Chris" and I was like..."man, glassuser rocks. Chris is a good surfer" and you were talking about ceramic ducks and how you wanted to start that ceramic duck factory. That was sweet. i was amped. we were freakin'. I'm puttin' on my blink 182 cd right now. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. FYI, if anyone knows in advance of an Eisley TV appearance just PM me. I can record it straight to my computer and get it to Boyd real quick. I just need a few hours advance notice. _________________ "Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you." - C. G. Jung |
