Unfortunately Moss Eisley is gonna have to change their name. Boyd said it has to be fairly soon, like a couple weeks. So what do you guys think for names?

The Moss
xMossx
Moss on Death (M.O.D.)

Hahaha, I don't know. The first one is the only serious suggestion I have at the moment.

hmm. i dont think the dogs of death would be that fitting...

how about pocketbulb, 50 toes and 50 fingers... well i dont know.
you could always take your name from a radiohead song. they took their name from a talking heads song. how about the creeps, banana co, or the talk show hosts. some of these names are rather silly.
you could always go with jon wilson and the duprees, or the dynamic duo. the stacy folds 6. mossallica. smokey dupree and the miracles. eisley moss, lightbulb fingers. you could go hardcore and be something like deathhead, or postmortum, mabey even sonic menace. thank God no ones going hardcore though, not that i hate heavy muzac or anything.
gosh i dunno. some of those were dumb and silly, but maybe they will spark inspiration for a good name. except for the creeps, you prolly shouldnt use that one.

okay.... Please, if you will, a moment of silence. Is it just me, or is this name change thing hard on anyone else? I think the name MossEisley is really cool! But if they have to change it, they have to change it. But still, it's sad! Anyways, it's too depressing to think of a new name suggestion right now... I'll rack my brain and see what I can come up with though, and I'll get back to the board another day... All take care, and the best of luck to the band!

on the radiohead song thing:
i think Melatonin would be cool

i think the name should fit the music and i have the lyrics to the Beach Boys' Cabinessence in mind
"Nestle in a kiss below there.
The constellations ebb and flow there.
And witness our home on the range."

something with 'ebb' or 'flow' in it would seem to fit the music
the line "the constellations ebb and flow there" is brilliant. VAn Dyke Parks wrote some of the most beautiful lyrics i've ever heard.

i'm guessing George Lucas wasn't cool with it, even with the extra 's?'
heck, there's a band called Nerf Herder and that's from the Empire Strikes BAck
