Arielle, you pretty much just described my future mother-in-law. 
I've actually had a desire to take up pipe smoking lately, though it would wreak havoc on my voice. It's just such a stereotypically masculine thing to do, way more so than cigarettes or even cigars. i tried a friend's pipe earlier this year. it was pretty sweet. i'm definitely not a smoker, not in the least and i never will be, but a pipe was fun to try. whether it was sexy or not, i have no idea. _________________ blog. check it. |

Smoking is not sexy. The tobacco industry may have positioned itself in films over the years with sexy actors/actresses, but the actual act of smoking (breathing burning leaves into your mouth and/or lungs) is a slow form of suicide. It may not kill you in the end, but it will cost you a ton of money even if you don't end up with some expensive hospital stays, surgeries, chemo, etc... as a result. And the nicotine and other ingredients are not only carcinogenic and cardiac risk factors, but also very addictive (in other words, some will have a hard time stopping once they start). Better to just avoid it, and not end up with little burn holes in your favorite sweaters. I speak from experience. |

i don't find any female smoker sexy, but if they ahd to smoke, i guess a pipe is better than anything. I just reember Jean louis dreyfus smoking the cigar in that one seinfeld episode, and it really turning me off. _________________ But I cannot discover any advantage except in honor, in glory, and in right action.
