Hey everybody. Our friends at Earthworks are wanting to feature Eisley in an ad for their amazing microphones. One of the pictures they want to use is this one: Does anyone know who took this photo or where we might find a hi-res version of it? -Mark |

Ha ha. I've been searching all over for this thing. It looks like the Dallas HOB show, but no luck anywhere. All of my shots that were close to that one just don't work. I could go on a mic shot hunt through my hundreds and hundreds of unused Eisley photos (a handful which are probably decent). As for what I have online, this is the only thing I've found that matches the various needs (decent, recent, mic showin', vertical, facing in) I see in that one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/theantrider/1976570222/ _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I found the pic, but I can't remember where I found it. I looked all through Boyd's journals, strangeyellowpatterns, and the forum, but I can't seem to find it again. Not only do we need a hi-res version of it, we also need the photographer's permission to use the photo in an ad. It is the perfect photo for this particular ad, but it may be impossible to track. A little more info on this photo: it appears to not be from the Dallas HOB show, because Sherri's hair is different from the way it is in Jamie's photo. Also, we have only been using that particular mic since midway through the MuteMath tour, so it is definitely not from before then. |

http://flickr.com/photos/seanzyphoto/2522151334/in/set-721576033065977 29/ Do I get a prize? haha. I searched for "eisley sherri" in flickr and had to look through some pages and found a photo that looked like it could be from the same show and photographer, so I looked through his photostream and there it was! So the photographer is: http://flickr.com/people/seanzyphoto/ _________________ |

It appears that it was from the Dallas show, though. Just a different Dallas show... the one on the most recent tour. If you look on the right it says it was taken on May 22nd and he has "house of blues" as a tag. But yeah, not from the same Dallas show that Jamie posted a picture from. _________________ |

Ha. I meant that I thought this picture was from the Dallas show (which it actually was, though I was starting to doubt it), but then I just posted the only half-decent mic shot I could find. Which happened to also be from HOB in Dallas, but it was from the Mute Math tour. But I'm glad you finally found it! _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

But yeah, not from the same Dallas show that Jamie posted a picture from. yeah, i noticed that (and even that the person uses a Nikon D50 just like Sherri) and searched the 5-22-08 Dallas thread (thinking this was how Mark saw it), but the pic was not posted on that particular thread (unless there was more than one on the most recent Dallas show). _________________ I am Torgo.
