I can't wait until she lets us hear some clips! I'm probably wayyy off but, in my mind I expect this to sound something like iamamiwhoami meets Lykke Li. Either way it's going to be SO GOOD!! _________________ |

So what does this have to do with her being pregnant? _________________ Classical guitar cover of "Combinations": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkIpDhvbd2o |

I hope Stacy is stricter about carving her own release dates in stone than with her other band. Sucre without an accent is sugar in French, Sucré (presumably pronounced soo-CRAY) I don't know what it means unless a fancier way of saying Sucre (SOO-cruh). Damned exciting. I keep hearing about the lush Larson string arrangements which I'm salivating for but I don't recall her saying anything about playing an instrument herself on this album? Do you suppose she's stepping away from the keys for this? Did she play them during the Springfield show? _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |

I think I remember someone saying they saw her at the Springfield show and it was weird because it was just Stacy with no keyboard or guitar or anything....sooo |

I'm just wondering how she wrote the songs. Who came up with what _________________ Oneironaut http://www.facebook.com/ChengBand |

@Grain Thrower Nope, she took the stage with nothing but her voice and she killed it. I thought she might be a little awkward without an instrument to get behind but she killed it. It was just very natural and flowed out. It wasn't weird at all for her not to be playing something. Also, anyone notice that she said Eisley will record a new album before the Sucre album is released? All this news makes me so happy. So much music from the Dupree's makes me crazy excited! _________________ cynlovescandy wrote: kulvir wrote: I bet R. Kelly approves of peeing in the shower. The world is R. Kelly's shower. Wow eleven songs, that's great! I thought it was just going to be a short ep. grain thrower wrote: Sucre without an accent is sugar in French, Sucré (presumably pronounced soo-CRAY) I don't know what it means unless a fancier way of saying Sucre (SOO-cruh). When I first saw it I got it mixed up with "lucre" and was thinking "What, like sweet filthy money?" haha. I saw there's a Sucré restaurant in New Orleans and I kind of remember she may have tweeted something about a favorite restaurant there but maybe not. _________________ we're really not alone, we have each other |
