Is this post a joke? Eisley totally blows that goth/metal/rap band right out of the water. I dont know how you can even compare the two other than that they each have female lead singers. Sure they've sold 4 million records and Im sure the people who bought them think they are cool. For me, Ill take the Eisley over Evanesence. _________________ Hail to the King, baby theufbproject.com |

This is a ridiculous thread...the two bands are polar opposites musically so how can you compare? It's like trying to compare the beatles with slayer...it's just pointless I love both bands and I refuse to choose one over the other. _________________ ![]() |

Eisley, hands down, without a doubt. Evanescence is nothing special. Sure, the lady can sing. I recognize that. But Justin Timberlake can sing, and dance. See what I mean? _________________ signed: Omygosh, Emperor of Shmo **the turtle stamp of approval** www.soulstrum.com |

Evanescnce gels well as a unit,Amy's vocals compliment her lyrical content and the guys do theur jobs well,Amy is what makes the band special but without the band she wouldn't have the power to push her voice/lyrics across as well as she does, the band compliment amy and amy compliments the band.I admit the band aren't all technical and whatnot but neither are eisley, both bands play simple but lovely music but very very well...you don't have to be all experimental and technical to be good. again, this thread is absolutely ridiculous...I mean it's an eisley forum for gods sake, nobody is going to say evanescence are they? so what was the point? so all the evanescence haters could have a field day ripping apart Amy & co again for the millionth time? _________________ ![]() |

I agree with Paul... I don't like Evanescence but I still think that comparing them with Eisley(especially in Eisleyblog on the Eisley forum) is just silly. And they are WAY to different to compare. ![]() _________________ thanks to the works of stephen colbert, the population of elephants has tripled in the past 10 years. |

Paul, I think Boyd meant the original post who started this thread. I almost laughed outloud when I saw this. I thought, oh, great, here we go again. I agree with you Paul. These two bands shouldn't be compared. Amy is an amazing vocalist. (as I have stated many times before) There music is just not my cup of tea, but, you cannot even compare the two music styles. |

By that rationale, you can't "compare" the Beatles to Twisted Sister, then... As ridiculous as the original post was, I don't think the poster was thinking about the whole side of things that has been uncovered here. I'll just cut to the chase and say Eisley! ![]() |
