i just watched tvu, and the announcer dude said he wanted eisley on the show. he said he wasn`t sure how to contact y`all, whether by phone or whatnot. just thought you should know :]. _________________ - stevie |

Well, they should know how to get in touch with the management for bands... A tiny bit of research should do it. WB knows the bands on their label...they would quickly direct them to management which would also deal with WB publicity. A call to WB would do it. If they contact me personally, I always direct them to both with email. Bands never make these kind of decisions. Yes! That would be soo great if they went on TVU. They have bands in the studio frequently, but never anyone good. Who could beat Eisley? |

I think it's amazing that they'd play Eisley. I keep saying that. I'm baffled. If Eisley, why not Coldplay or Fire Theft or Midlake or Travis... but, hey... much appreciated. I'm not trying to do an identity alignment, it's just - eisley is a creative band...encompassing all aspects of life and the cosmos...etc. I appreciate that TUV is cool playing their songs without some ridgid JWPM (Jesus words per minute) though they've never written music for the Christian market. It shows that there's hope for good art in that market. Let me clarify you up sis, Eisley isn't a Christian band, it's Christians in a band. ( Is that an oxi-moron?) But, all the same, the other bands Boyd listed are not Christians in their bands, so that is why TVU doesn't play them. I'm so glad they do because I don't watch that grotesque network called MTV, so I can see Eisley's video on TVU!!! TVU is the Christian alternative to MTV. Check out there website @ tvulive.com. |
