C O N F I R M A T I O N / D A T E S - B E L O W

Eisley just found this out from reading (eisley's) forum
http://eisley.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7752

Clear Channels postings:
http://cc.com/search.html?search=eisley&Search=Search

1. What's your reaction to the line up?
2. Are you surprised that the world knew before the band did?
3. Should I go make coffee now or boil my head in T-rex liver bile?

I guess it's possible there might be more shows with Snow Patrol.
DISCLAIMER: NOT NECESSARILY SO.
Here's how it typically works:
1. Management schemes about possible tours.
2. They consult with booking Agent.
3. Agent/Management make submissions to managers of bands they're interested in.
4. They strike a deal and start planning out dates and routes.
5. As certain venues/shows get locked down, info leaks out on the web.

Sometimes you just see the tip of the iceburg. One-off, random shows
are highly unlikely. Then again... I looked at S.P.'s dates...no mention of
Eisley. We'll just wait and find out.

Here's even a deeper look at this:
Eisley's management is good friends with Derek Fudge, Coldplay's
road manager, also runs sound and tour manages Snow Patrol... (or did
because he emailed me earlier this year about it) Derek loves Eisley and
vice versa. See how it works? He's an amazing sound engineer (mixed
Eisley at Red Rocks) so... BAM. It's all about connections.

Why didn't Eisley know about this? Your guess. But, i think i should go
boil my head in a vat of steaming guana after I have more coffee. Should
I?

Either way, I'm not opposed to the match. Snow Patrol is a British rock
band. They're melodic, ambient, creative, have a pop sensibility; Each
band can compliment each other while not detracting from either. Each
can bring their own fan base...neither will object to the line up. (at least -
not dramatically) Even if it's just 2 shows, it's a great thing.

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

CONTACT. WE HAVE DATES.

I also posted this in the my daily blog but...I spoke with management
TODAY... the offer from Snow Patrol is for the entire tour. The leak
happened just as I suspected. Management had not confirmed it or
spoken with the band because they're trying to tack down the last details
of getting the record wrapped up. We only have about 6 weeks to get it
done so the band can get on the road.

Just letting you know. I will toss out the disclaimer - I THINK it's a done
deal. Will keep you posted. The dates are listed below. Looks like a bunch
of great venues. Some, we've been to before. Note: a few Canadian
dates - but nothing central... (sorry guys).

Cheers. Eisley will finally come to a town or state near you. bd

If it is true and happening, then of course I will be there too. It's only a few hours away.

Seems kind of late in the game to be at the "leaking out information" stage. September is just around the corner. Usually, people plan concerts AT LEAST 6 months in advance.
