Funny noboday has replied in this thread yet. Gypsy Tearoom (http://www.gypsytearoom.com) doesn't list any shows for Monday 11/10 maybe they are waiting until the official annoucment. You can get tickets at the door or Front Gate tickets ( http://www.frontgatetickets.com ) I don't have a clue what the expected turnout is so I'd get tickets online just to be safe. Also, I didn't think gypsy tearoom did all ages shows but there are a few listed in their calendar so my guess would be that the Eisley show will be all ages. _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |

did you know that for non-all-ages shows, the dorr price of tickets for people under 21 gets jacked up sky-high to $23 to make up for the loss in potential barside revenue? Yeah, me neither. until this weekend, anyway. did anyone else go to built to spill? anyway, whenever possible, get tickets in advance. it's like a security blanket you won't get made fun of for. plus, they're cheaper. _________________ I highly recommend it. |

hey. btw - It's the ballroom side, not the team room. It holds 1,100. It's always confusing to me....when someone say's a band is playing at the Gypsy Tea Room - we have to say, "the Tea Room or the Ball Room?" Why don't they just call it the Ballroom, instead?". Anyway, the Brand New Tour comes through Houston on Saturday, Austin on Sunday and Dallas on Monday.... (Tempe, Arizona on Tuesday, etc.) Scott Beggs, who promotes (books/promotes) for Trees and Gypsy Tea Room already told me that ticket sales are strong...and he expects to sell it out. They're pretty excited. Scott and all those guys...(Russel, who runs Tree's and others) really loves eilsey and have been SO supportive. After Eisley's last appearance at Tree's, Scott told me that he thinks the band is ready to headline (Tree's). bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. i've been promoting the tea room/ballroom show all day today at school and will continue tomorrow. i'm a member of the brand new street team and they're having a contest. by promoting the show steet teamers get a chance to meet them after the show. and since there are probably other street teamers like me out there you might want to hurry and secure your tickets very soon. _________________ www.myspace.com/neilcorbett |

Jeebus, why do yall have to scare me like that!? oh well, i was still able to get a ticket so no harm done. :) I have never been to the ballroom part. in fact, i've only been to the tearoom maybe two or three times.. Its so far down at the very start of deep ellum. If the tearoom hasn't changed since the last time i was there it's a pretty cool club. It's a little more "classy" then the other clubs but not stuck up. _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |

it's so pretty. i like how it's thinish. the one time i went there the people opening for eisley sucked and weren't playing together, really. it was the first time i saw them, back in may. the first time i heard them, too. the bassist in the sucky band before them reminded me of George Clooney, except ugly and freaky... _________________ If the end of the world has proper noodles I'll probably be okay with it. |
