i stumbled across this on absolutepunk.net: It's rumored that New Found Glory will be touring with Eisley, The Bouncing Souls and Reggie and the Full Effect in the Spring. who knows where they came up with that....personally, i think eisley with reggie and the full effect would be an awesome show. the other two bands i could do without. however, considering boyd's earlier comments about wanting to have a headlining tour of small venues, i'd put the chances of this happening at slim to none. |

standingcareful wrote: Eisley would make NFG look bad. Doesn't sound like the greatest idea to me. Actually, that would be great for Eisley. They have an uncanny ability to win over anything from country to heavy metal fans. I think it's a miss to put them with someone too similar. Compare the Brand New and Snow Patrol tours. SP is a lot closer to Eisley musically than Brand New, but you don't see droves of SP fans here like you do BN fans. Of course, that could be the similarly rabid nature of BN fans, also ... Of course, it's becoming tradition for us to hate the band Eisley is opening for (just look back to all the Brand New bashing before that tour). If it does happen to be NFG, I just hope they don't get stuck with playing for 30 minutes right after doors ... NFG has a huge following, and many of them might love Eisley. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

woah. how does this stuff become news on other sites? where does it come from? We only just met NFG at the VooDoo fest, as mentioned. Since then, they've been freaking out in a good way over the band. But...it's so hard to see why? How could pop punk - warp tour bands "get" eisley? Why do they like eisley? Like Brand New (way more artier)... and Dashboard. What's with it? I mean, it's cool... to be admired by well known bands; I'm really asking because I want to understand better... maybe I have some ideas, but - I'll save them. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
