I just returned from my first Eisley show at the Gorge in Washington State. I saw the band, who rocks, and met them. Extremely nice people, very cool. Later that evening The Flaming Lips came out to play their set. If you are not familiar with the Lips, go check them out. They had an insane intro number involving Animal people, massive baloons, confetti galore, and what a surprise, Eisley. Not only is the band playing with Coldplay, they are getting killer oppurunities to share the stage with some of the coolest bands ever. And, I should add, not JUST because they got Eisely on stage with them. I got Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Friday. Been listening to it ever since. |
