Some of the songs off the new CD would sound amazing if they were played by both bands together. I can dream cant i? hells yea. last time i saw guster, they had a 3 song set, and a 2 hour encore made up of requests. what a band. _________________ knives don't have your back. |

NO NO polyphonic spree is a horrid farce and it is sad that they are allowed to play anywhere at all.....that would be absolutely horrible! ugh. what we should do is convice Sting to reform the Police for a reunion tour..... The Police, with Eisley as the opening act....wow...don't you think? hmmm...well.....all you youngsters probably don't even know how cool The Police were..... |

Won't be the first time someone's called me an idiot....i respectfully call you an idiot back I prefer content over charachter in my music. Polyphonic Spree's "gimmick" of the costumes and 50 people onstage transcends the music, it's a "show", not music....the music just isn't very good, in my opinion. besides, we're gettting off Topic again.... Eisley should tour with The Posies, although the Posies aren't really touring much...just playing scattered shows.....i hear Ken Stringfellow was on tour with REM. i don't think the Posies can decide whether they are broken up or not .... |

WHOEVER SAID THE POSIES IS A GENIUS!!! if Komeda ever releases anything else ever, then they should definately share a bill. and then of course, THEY HAVE TO MAKE UP FOR CANCELLING ON THEIR SHOW WITH BANGARANG. hint. _________________ "It is because they have no Oyarsa," said one of the pupils. They should tour with johnnyactionfinger. A stand-up comedy and music tour would be fun. Not because of anything in this thread.. he's just funny. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

Posted: Fri Jun 20, 2003 8:50 pm Yes, Coldplay and Eisley was a good blend. Not just cause it fits the stlye but because it also fit the target audience. Nuff said 'bout that. I would love to see. Eisley, Grandaddy, and Elliot play a show. I'd also like to see some DJ's spin Eisley into their mixes. Like on a Chill Out CD. That would be awesum. I aslo reallt love it when bands join up with other bands during a show. Like if Eisley played guitar for Radiohead and then Radiohead played guitar for Eisley. That would be a "rush of blood to the head". _________________ Hey....www.xanga.com/guitarstrummingpunk....ya |
