Posted: Thu Jun 03, 2004 9:03 am Ok that was a Chappelle Show reference were he dressed up like prince and he challenged those guys to a basketball game. Well guys, it looks like we’re prince. Anyways, since we all are feeling frustrated that HIT SINGLES are frustrating Eisley might I suggest one extremely dirty word that probably crossed your mind already (clears throat, mutters) TRL. We all vote everyday till the record comes out. This was a proposition that came with a little hesitance and fear but I don’t know what better way to tell people about the band right? There isn’t anything wrong with the songs. Like probably everyone in here, there isn’t one Eisley song you couldn’t live without even the ones you don’t know yet that you have been teased with in clips and live shows. People just need to find out about Eisley. Sometimes all it takes is a video and MARVELOUS THINGS is the perfect video. I wanted to post this earlier with the whole we are united Eisley fans vibe going on but I’m shy and hate creating threads. But haha I am selfish and want everyone to know how much my favorite band rocks so boardie pact to vote and get Eisley played on TRL to get exposure? New fans = record guys see there is a Market = record people shut up and trust Eisley with their songs (because they are good, more than good, freakin addictive! dam those harmonies stick in your head) = leave Sherri and Stacy alone to write more beautiful songs for us to listen to = everybody happy and party. Ok whoo who wants pancakes? O yeah anyone wanna put that mtv link up? I’m so not a computer person. I still haven’t even figured out how to get that avatar thing to work. _________________ and iiiii can't live without you and i don't want to. i've done that all my life up til now.

MTV sucks. ummm, btw, Guster? not exactly the most popular band in the world. just trying to say that maybe they just didn't have the influence to get the job done. Also, how many people watch TRL and vote? hundreds of thousands, there are less than 3000 people on this forum, and i'd say less than 100 post frequently enough to catch all of this. Not to rain on anybody's parade, but that ain't gunna be enough to git the job done. We'd have to pull resources from local communities and a whole lot more just to vote a video on TV. Democracy, you bastard... _________________ welcome to the no pants club boone |

it's called voting multiple numbers of times yall. we're your Eisley spirit. if a group of annoying teenyboppers can do this why can't we? but ahh maybe ur right? i watched trl a couple of days ago and seriously became ill. the vj's, the music, i kept switching channels, back and forth to get through the whole crappy countdown. i dunno i just thought how cool through all the crappy music one day all you heard were those first notes of Marvelous Things and the Vj's were like umm here's Eisley? and everyone would become entranced and all of a sudden people would be asking who's Eisley? i don't know Marvelous Things seems like it would have that kind of effect. i mean look at modest mouse. i don't know why i referrenced modest mouse. i just really like that video to. o well word of mouth it is then? fuse doesn't request do they? they have dedicate live but you choose from a crappy panel of redundant videos. But they do have this thing where you can comment about a video somewhere on the website so maybe there? _________________ and iiiii can't live without you and i don't want to. i've done that all my life up til now.
