Boyd said that there will be a new producer for the last three songs that are to be tracked in LA: Quote: Sad news...looks like Rob will be in Finland or at the very least already
absorbed into other projects by the time Eisley will finish tracking the 3 last songs with then new mystery producer in LA, so... there will also have to be a new mystery MIXER named soon as well. I know who they're looking at but won't say. I also know the mystery producer's they're looking at but won't say. WHAT, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? AND RISK DE-GENERATING MY PLASTO SEMI-BIOTIC HEAD?! You're crazier than a one legged pole vaulter in a mine field. Any ideas of who the producer will be? I was kind of hoping it would be Aaron Sprinkle with the great job he did on Marvelous Things. I'm kind of fantasizing here, but it would be quite amazing if Nigel Godrich did them too. Boyd did say that he was interested, but was too busy to work on a full length. I'm kind of dissapointed that Rob wasn't able to finish it, though. Eisley said he was doing a pretty good job and I'm an Elliot Smith fan. Anyway, give your opinions. |

I confess. It's me! I'm very experienced, so don't worry. I produced "Jamie's Bedroom Demo I and II" along with "Mix CD" 1-5. I also used to do mix tapes when they were still on tapes. I've worked with stereos that have two tape decks, and also with multiple disc changers. I can sorta play guitar and can hit drums. I sing in my car, too. So I know about vocals. This will be an awesome album! _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

hey does anyone remember boyd saying that rick rubin really wanted to produce eisley. not that that's gonna happen, but how mega would that be - seriously?! eisley need to have someone who does lot's of hallucinogens or something produce their albums. so the essence of the mystery and magic can be captured in the raw. imagine like an eisley album that was ultra edgy and out there but solid melodic songs, sort of like KID A or something. maybe for the second or third LP. we can only hope. _________________ "You're my favorite person." - David Carradine, Kill Bill vol. 2 |

well, yes. they're talking to Rick. He's a super sweet guy and honestly loves the band...questions surrounding his contractual ability to work with Eisley seeing how he runs American for IDJ. I can imagine he'd do a smash job.... think Jayhawks. think anything rock. I just don't think it will happen... but, who knows. More than likely, Rob Cavallo will do it. Or, not. I don't have a clue. We'll know soon. bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Aaron is always busy... he's burns the torch at night and the console by day. He's amazing. Hey, we're just excited that his version of Marvelous Things is going to be on the record.
