Hello all.
I'm Eric.
I first discovered Eisley in the Dallas Morning News. I was hooked after that because of their musical interests, such as Radiohead and the Beatles.
Well i'm new and would enjoy chatting with someone.
ok bye.

I would be happier if I was in driving distance of that concert Instead, I am wishing I was going. You will have to tell me how it goes (assuming you are going)

Well, I'm new. After having listened to the Laughing City EP for the very first time at Good Records in Dallas - I was hooked.

Anyway, I'm Joey - I live in a small town south of Dallas, near Waxahachie. Nobody really knows where Ovilla or Red Oak is, but they'll go, "Oooh yeah!" when I say it's near Waxahachie - or DeSoto, Duncanville, etc.

Hmm.

Yeah, I'm real big into local music - real big. I don't have any musical talents at all, but I'd love to be on a stage like Pete from Slow Roosevelt and just scream into a megaphone and get people to all get into it Laughing

For being a young-looking guy, ha, I'm really 22 - I write for a newspaper down here, and I'm a photographer.

There you have it.

Joey - a "newbie" in a nutshell. More info is on my website...

Neil, Todd Lewis totally rocks. I want the Toadies to get back together, dangit.

Oooh, a Toadies/Eisley show -- now that would rock.

Anyway, is it just me, or is Chauntelle really hot? I think the Eisley chicas are pretty freakin cute, but Chauntelle...ah, man.

havn't you heard todd Lewis has a new band called the Burden brothers. it's him and the former drummer of reverend horton heat Taz Bently. they've been together for a while now and have put out 3 ep's. although as of late it seems like they've fallen off the face of the earth. if anybody knows what happened let me know. my guess is that todd's taking time off to take care of his son.

Yeah, but it'll never happen.

A. The Toadies are mostly broken up.
B. Mark Rez(drummer) had this to say about Eisley "Haven't ever seen 'em live, but heard the latest EP at a listening station. It's a turd. A smelly, steaming hunk of poop. Avoid at all costs."
Then again, you'd think that he's way to good of a musician with way too good tastes in music to make such a ludicrous statement. Maybe he was wacky on the junk at the time.
