i haven't heard it either. but, yeah, that's it. and, i liked the sampled woosh sound... make sure you spread the words to Morrissey fans that the woosh isn't Jerry's fault. Jerry begged him to tell his fans in an interview but he wouldn't. oh well... producers take the heat. That is sorta their job. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. I wonder how they got a hold of this new info. It seems like most of the people on the board don't mind the whoosh sound, since apparently moz has done stuff like this in the past on other songs. One thing that seems to come up about Jerry is that his work has a very polished sound, but I could care less if a song is polished or rusted, it's the melody that I care about. |

And I thought I knew the terminology for every sonic unpleasantry that exists. What in Kurt Cobain's toejam is a "whoosh" sound? _________________ https://soundcloud.com/kiteswithoutstrings/tracks |

Irish Blood English Heart was going on my next monthly mix CD for my car. I need to listen to it to see if I can identify the whoosh. _________________ https://soundcloud.com/kiteswithoutstrings/tracks |

Ok I think I heard it. It's not so bad. I mean sure - it doesn't add much. But there are bigger things to complain about in songs nowadays aside from whoosh sounds. _________________ https://soundcloud.com/kiteswithoutstrings/tracks |

whoosh, all of this is just background noise. jerry talks of these story with a smile... admitting that producers have a hard job. Hey, in the end, i suppose he could have said, i'm not putting the whoosh. end of story. as for me, i can't wait to hear the whoosh. I love the Smiths and haven't actually heard Morressy's solo stuff. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
