i have a question... my friend, my younger sis and i are planning on going to the eisley concert at the gypsy tea room. on the snow patrol website, it says you have to be at least 17 years old to get in, but on the actual gypsy tea room website, i can't find any age limits. does anybody know how old you have to be?

I thought I remembered reading on the Gypsy Tea Room website that it was a 17+ show. That might have been on the page where I ordered my ticket.

Well if the Snow Patrol website says you have to be 17+... then don't you have to be 17+?

The show is 17+. But I don't know how strict it is. That's up to the venue. Try calling them?

just wondering...what's the point of a show being 17+? i understand why you'd have 21+, or even 18+, but why 17? it's not like snow patrol is an r-rated movie

because your a legal adult at 18. Or at least that's what I think. At 18 your held responsible for everything and you can't really have mommy and daddy take the blam for anything. I know some people think 18 year olds are more mature than 17 year olds but that's not really true at all. I think its a stupid rule..that is the 18 + and 17 +. Its Eisley were going to see, not who can get drunk at the bar the quickest. Though I will respect the venue for their rules and regulations, afterall they know whats best.

Don't concerts like these usually have a loophole like if you were accompanied by a parent or legal guardian?

I have no clue about the loophole thing. I've always been old enough, or lucky enough not to have to worry with the age thing.

If you just need to be with someone of age, ask me. I'm 24 and willing to help. Very Happy

It's all the expletives and stage violence that Eisley use on stage. Surprised
