i'm going. Thanks to all new fans coming...and old ones... and no thanks to JUSTIN (their longest, oldest fan....well, yes, he's 97 and 18 feet tall)...DUDE...just GO to your silly Deerhoof show....Fine, bambi- wambi. Anyway, to all the faithful (JUST kidding letdowntourist), I'll be running sound with one hand and videotaping with the other. Are there any decent videoographers that want to help me by taking the camera out of my hand? I'd rather concentrate on sound. Last Trees show, half the video was the top of the stage or into the abyss above the stage. I have to sleep now. bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. boyd! I'm a grand videoographer. Like that's what i do for my church... I've edited many a video together (using a pc) so I know what to shoot and how to do it well.. what's good and what's bad. Alas, they placed dallas too far away.. _________________ "Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed." prov 16:3 |

Wow. Eisley was amazing tonight. I had forgotten how good they were, but I wasn't too thrilled with the crowd. Everyone was asking if the Isley Brothers were playing, and them some guy by me asked if the guy who stuck his head out of the curtain before they went on (with the video camera, boyd maybe?) was Eisley. I jumped all over them. And the worst part was I accidentally made eye contact with Chauntelle during Telescope Eyes, I think... and it scared me so much I could barely look her direction afterwards. Well, I did keep looking to try to see how many pedals she has. Anyway, this was my favorite show of the summer, and I didn't even stay for Old 97's. Wowowowowowowowow. _________________ This ain't no new kinda story~. |

funny. those beer swaggin' alt country rock-a-whatevers were hardcore, weren't they. As I was worming my way through the thick, seathing pile of humo-heaters, I heard a girls say to someone else...."i dunno...those must be that band eisley's fan club"... whatever that meant. I've never seen so much glass on the floor after a show. amber crunch. That's too funny about seeing Chauntelle seeing you. I think that's just an honest, funny thing to say. So there. bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. eisley was good as always. i had heard the new song in tyler, but its still pretty good. id put it there with trollywood. i still like marvelous things and treetops better, but thats just my preferences. not sure about the violinist. im sure he was good, but i couldnt hear him very much from where i was at. not sure why. I had 3 girls there with me too who had never heard eisley before and they liked them too i had never heard old 97's before and i wasnt expecting country at all. i think i like them. they really know how to put on a show. i was just shocked that this band that the indie/alternative kids rave about was actually a country band. |
