I have Sirius satellite network (like XM) at work, and they play some pretty cool stuff on some channels. Well, I figured I'd email them and request some Eisley. I mentioned in the email that they were going to tour with Snow Patrol and blah blah blah. Well, I sent off the email (A MONTH AGO!) and figured I just missed them playing it. Last Friday I'm working away and I catch the dj-guy talking between songs. I then hear him say "Eisley", so my ears perk up and I walk over to my stereo. He proceeds to read my email and say "this is for Peter in Dallas" and plays Marvelous Things. That's the first time I've ever gotten props...I was happy. Not sure why it took a month to get played, but at least I heard it... Email is pretty slow.. wait, no. Maybe it's broadcast from another planet, so it had to bounce through several satellites to get there. It is satellite radio after all. I bet that's why. Yup. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

hehe - I like your reasoning gRegor... I mean, what are the odds that I'd be listening a month later in the right 4 minute window to hear the song and know that it was my request...kinda boggles the mind... P. p.s. they need to speed up the time between when the request is made, and when the song is played... _________________ "Enjoy Every Sandwich" - Warren Zevon "What's Life Without Music?" - The Mermaid Purse www.myspace.com/ptah |
