ahh, shucks. wull, thanks. um. (feet shuffle) golly. I really appreciate the kinds words. seriously.

But, keeping up with the forum sometimes sucks the creative juices out of me sometimes...so much production; videotaping, digitizing, screen captures, crop, resize, tweak, gather all - upload, code, add cut-lines. It's my life; not complaining. I remember when I was a designer for those years (since '80)... Wink .

3 CD's coming up (US ep, UK ep, Full Length) , more merch, more QT movies, Eisley store, etc. Lots of busy-ness... lots of design. Next level will be better. Always integrating Eisley's art into the mix. I want to become invisible in their identity. So, for that reason...I now appoint my offspring to run this forum. (arms folded...waiting forever...not gonna happen. ok. nevermind.)

But thanks. And thanks Diddle - who ever you are. (oh, that's right, you're my best friend..and coming from a fellow designer...it's special; Hey, coffee at 7:15am mr. broskidudimo-mo. Eisley manor. Hear the Winter Song?)

Yeah, Boyd, very nice stuff. The images are a perfect match for the sound. Lots of greens and browns, very forest-like. Reminds me of a Trolly Wood.

hm... could i get a UK ep as well? is that legal? that would be sweet. would the liner notes be in British? Like instead of thanking mom and dad you would thank mum and dad. would all the songs be sung with a british accent? would h's become a thing of the past ('old on 'old on to the ones you love.)

that would be sweet.

Um...personally, I think that the British accent is one of the coolest.
I am not impressed by "French" (no offense to my husband's ancestors), or any other accent really.
Texas accent! God help my own mouth! I try very hard to fight against it.
I am a native Houstonian, so I always think that I don't have a real heavy Texas accent, since Houston is such a melting pot.
But, living in East Texas, is like being on a whole nother planet!
When Weston and Jonathan get going back and forth, (mocking the East Texas slang), you laugh till your sides split!
Then, the next day, you're out at Wal Mart (a shopping store for you out of country people), and you hear people all around you talking that way, and they aren't doing it for fun!

Example: BillyBob, "Howdy Martha! D'jall git sumpin for Homer's ailin' gout"?
Martha, "Naw...he ain't been to the doctor yet, he jus' keeps on moanin 'bout it."
BillyBob, "Well...d'jeat yet?"
Martha, "Naw"
BillyBob, "Why don't you'ins come on over and I'll have Betsy cook up some squirrel stew."
Martha, "Alright....'bout what time should we be comin'?"

I wish I had a British accent Sad

It's funny how, no matter how hard we try to get rid of the East Texas accent (or not to have one in the first pace), someone from up north will hear us and think we're hicks.
I was scared the other day when I said "raaaaanch." I've been practicing it to erase any hint of a drawl ...
If I had a German accent (and knew German), I could never stop myself talking because I'd want to hear it. That's weird, I know.

lol, my cousins are always try to teach me to speak with a proper English accent whenever I'm staying with them in the UK. I don't think they've quite forgiven my granny for marrying an American, moving to the States, and raising my dad to speak with an American accent.

The N Irish actually have a really cute accent, and the accents from the Hebrides and Outer Isles are really amazing and downright musical.

I usually can't tell when Brits sing that they've got an accent, unless it's way over the top. Chris Martin barely sounds like he has any accent when he sings, especially compared to when he speaks.
