i heard this song for the first time about 15 minutes ago. ive listened to it three times and am in complete shock.

this might just be the prettiest song ive ever heard. id put it right there beside like spinning plates.

i dont often cry over songs, but i did with this one.

As I just posted on the other thread, I must say that song was so beautiful. I am in tears in awe of how much one song can touch people. It brings about such a calm and warm feeling! WOW

Did Jon do some organ parts somewhere?
It was my understanding that Stacy wrote the entire song, all the parts, and played all the instruments to this recording, except for live.

Maybe I'm wrong about that.........but, that's what Boyd told me.

She wouldn't have played the bass parts, so, maybe Jon did the organ parts too.

jon played the organ parts on the live version. i think that's what was being referred to.

anyway..

i've been wanting to hear the whole of that song since i saw stacy playing it on that first video from the studio ages ago. just that tiny clip of it sounded so beautiful.. and now i get to hear it and it is amazing. i was feeling so sick today and it made me feel better.

i can't wait to hear it on the record!

As far as acoustic/organ combinations go, that ranks right up there with the original live performance of "True Love Waits."

I'm sad that Boyd said it'd probably never be performed live again... But you know, some bands have acoustic mini-sets in the midst of their concerts. U2 even had a "B" stage for the purpose. It'd be worth it just to hear this song in a live setting....

Yea, this song is major choke me up-take me off the ground-I'm flying now! type of song. I swear, if I was any kind of movie producer, I would KILL to have this song in a movie.
