As I just posted on the other thread, I must say that song was so beautiful. I am in tears in awe of how much one song can touch people. It brings about such a calm and warm feeling! It was my understanding that Stacy wrote the entire song, all the parts, and played all the instruments to this recording, except for live. Maybe I'm wrong about that.........but, that's what Boyd told me. She wouldn't have played the bass parts, so, maybe Jon did the organ parts too. |

As far as acoustic/organ combinations go, that ranks right up there with the original live performance of "True Love Waits." I'm sad that Boyd said it'd probably never be performed live again... But you know, some bands have acoustic mini-sets in the midst of their concerts. U2 even had a "B" stage for the purpose. It'd be worth it just to hear this song in a live setting.... _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Yea, this song is major choke me up-take me off the ground-I'm flying now! type of song. I swear, if I was any kind of movie producer, I would KILL to have this song in a movie. _________________ http://www.compassion.com/Default |
