hi! i was wondering if eisley's two vocalists lip synched live? i guess i could see them doin that for some of their songs i've heard with lots of twisting harmonies...could get confusing and mess up live, but i personally think that's still silly to lip synch no matter what. thanks! |

If you ever saw "Plenty of Paper" live in Houston, you'd know how real Eisley's perfomances are in addition to how funny Sherri is. Anyway, they don't need assistance to sound incredible live. _________________ Blaahg Mahspace Audioscrobbler

Boyd described Sherri's pick-dropping back on the Snow Patrol tour journal... Apparently she dropped her pick in the middle of the song, and couldn't play without it, so she had to stop. She searched through all her pockets, pulled out a dollar bill and said, "I can't play with this." The crowd loved it. I wish I'd been there. So yeah, that in and of itself is proof that they don't sync. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I was standing about 8 feet away from her when she did that. I should have taken pictures, but she seemed embarrassed enough. I can assure you, there is no lip synching going on with them. In fact, I loved that performance because it hit the point that, hey, these are real people making real music up here. Although, Weston did keep playing for a second after everyone else quit, so they might have to had stopped a tape for him. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Boyd mentioned at some point that Weston uses a click track (as many drummers do onstage). _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
