i hate to admit it... but I lip sync everything from the back; I hold the
video camera, which is really a remote mic that broadcasts my dual band
to receptors on stage. I sing the vocals through a FemTrans XL600 (that's
a male to female voice converter module). How do I split up the vocals? I
run a pre-mix audio feed thru a Split Screamer pocket pedal. It hears the
melody, calculates 6 possible harmonies and I set the default to: "Stacy"
if I'm singing sherri's part and vice versa. Sometimes I get confused as
you might have noticed... but yes. Totally, we lip sync. It's a core value.
How else can eisley ever get to be as big as Ashley and Brittany?

Good thing the guys don't sing Boyd, I think it might be hard for you to sing in a deep, manly voice. OH SNAP!!!

Sometimes theys lip sync, but, it's only when one of them don't get they way, and they lips go all pouty like. Sad

But, then, Weston makes them laugh, and they lips don't sync no mo! Smile

Ok... I'll come clean. I DON'T do the vocal tracks. Kim does. My video
camera pipes lives shows to her Apple Workstation where she transmits
all the vocal audio for both girls from the Eisley office.. What about the
video delay? I accommodate for the lag time by running her output
through my new Antici-Vocal Zip 2000. It monitors modem
rates and anticipates/corrects delays. You could NEVER know it's not
Eisley singing...never. And Kim is good. I'm just a tech-junkie...a gear
puppet. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

I think this is a sign that Boyd either needs to get back to work, or go to sleep. Wink

I guess he's taking a break. Sometimes I come here for a break when I'm studying for a test like right now. I guess I need to get back to work too.

Anyway, they don't need assistance to sound incredible live.

I saw that! I saw that!
I feel special now.

the band plays live, they aren't bubble gum pop, no annoying dance routines, & no lip syncing, not like there's anything wrong with it.
