i've been percolating on something meaningful that would compliment "forest"-- cause that works for me just on a subconcious level--and when i spend a little more time and think through exactly what is cool about "forest" i think it resonates 'cause often the experiences/challenges i find myself drawn into are dark and scary places, but there is still this serenity that hangs like a canopy teeming with life. so here is my contribution:

rigby forest

(Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name nobody came;
Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave no one was saved)

there is such a poignant portrait of reality in that song...eleanor needed to know there was a special kind of music just for her. Smile and i think it would be a cool statement to use her 'buried' name. i really am excited for you guys and what lies ahead! blessings...

The ultimate name for this band is without a doubt Lothlorien, after the golden mythical forest featured in the Lord Of The Rings books. However, there's probably the threat of copyright infringment here too so I'm just going to shut up.

or...Popstar Kill.

Try this out for size:

Gather together a bunch of names you find in your wallet/purse/backpack. When each person finds a name, or crazy word, pool all the words together in a hat. Pick out 2 or 3, and rearrange them until something cool is found.

Repeat as necessary.

My old band, Senator Dexter, got its name this way. And I kinda like it. hehe

yeah that's right.

the new name is upon us.

the mushpot conspiracy

i like the sound of it.

next time you think about a tree falling in the woods,

think about the yeti who fell with it.

chances are that he was just climbing to the top of a pine,

hoping to get a good look at the band formerly known as moss eisley.

yeah, there is new hope in the forest and the woods and the places known as "the sticks" and swamps and caves and other scary places where few dare to tread.

new hope i say.

i really hate duck, duck, goose, because i always end up in the mush pot.

i never seem to get out.

that's the big conspiracy.

yeti's have no outlet in this world.

we all thought with the success of our cousin, chewbacca, that we would obtain some kind of appreciation.

but no such luck.

we yeti's howl alone.

so next time a big hairy thing runs across the road in front of you and you're pretty sure its not a bear, but its too big to be a jack rabbit,

well, slam on your brakes anyways,

yeah, lock em up

you mighta spared the life of a bigfoot or sasquatch or wookie or yeti.

thanks for considering our plight,

yours truly,

the yeti with the spaghetti
