The US version of Amazon.com seems to have Room Noises as well. Is it actually the correct product? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0006ZOV5E/qid=110538603 0/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/104-3054983-6057514?v=glance&s=music ( http://tinyurl.com/4gzmd ) _________________ Eric (the Deacon remix)

I almost preordered it today... but then I realized that what I really want is to be able to leave the office on my lunch break, drive to Borders, walk in, see the album sitting all shiny on the rack and admire it for a bit, then pluck it up, turn it over in my hands, walk up to the register, exchange cash for CD, and walk to my car and immediately plug it in and listen all the way back to the office. Then I'll load it up on iTunes on the office computer, and transfer it to my iPod then and there, and it will be a glorious day. So I think I can wait another less-than-a-month for that kind of experience. Plus I won't have to pay shipping. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Two things: 1) Will Borders and/or other such places carry it (Barnes & Nobles, otehrs including major retail outlets, perhaps Best Buy and such)? 2) Which is better for the band? Pre-order on Amazon or retail purchase? _________________ Eric (the Deacon remix)

2) Which is better for the band? Pre-order on Amazon or retail purchase? 1) I expect they will. Borders (through Amazon) has it available for preorder already, which suggests that they'll also have it in stock. Best Buy is the same; not sure about Barnes & Noble but I bet they'll follow suit. And I know the label was going to push for having the album in Wal-Mart as well, so all your bases should be covered. 2) I can't imagine that one choice would be better for profits than the other... but I'm certainly no music industry afficionado. Perhaps Boyd can clarify...? _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
