I understand where you're coming from, living in Mississippi myself..... but I've had to live with it, and the only solution I can tell you is to travel 6+ hours like I'm going to have to. The only concerts withen 4 hours of me are like 3 doors down and puddle of mudd, so yeah all of the 'deep south' (excluding florida and texas) sort of get ignored, but it's not anyones fault but our natives. The people here just aren't open to any music that doesn't have a hillbilly and/or ghettofab rapper singing. |
