This is what i'm really looking forward to. Maybe you youngin's (even though i'm not all that old myself. at 23 haha) aren't as excited, but i'm a real fan of vinyl, especially with my vintage player. Plus the album sleeve since bigger than a CD and can be framed makes great wall decoration. So who else is getting it?

Can't say as I'll be buying it, for the following reasons:

1) You can't put vinyl on an iPod (or equivalent), at least not without a ton of hassle.
2) In half a year I'll be off in college and turntableless.
3) To be honest, I really can't tell the difference between vinyl and a CD sound-wise. Confused

collectablility, and i like the sound. I dont know if its the quality that I am hearing but it definently has a different sound to it.

I'm going to order the vinyl. The vinyl vs. whatever debate has raged for many years, so I won't get into it. But, vinyl is capable of producing a wider range of frequencies than a cd... the point where that doesn't matter is when you are using a cheap turntable and amp or a crappy needle or if you play the vinyl enough the high end begins to go away. CDs are more durable and make more sense for most situations, but if you're listening at home with a decent setup vinyl can really change your perspective on some albums.

There have been a couple of posts already regarding this. Tower and Circuit City are the two places I have seen it so far. I pre-ordered mine from Tower because I know they ship fast. In most cases I would rather have Vinyl as apposed to the cd; if I want to listen to stuff on my iPod i'll just buy it on itunes. Vinyl is the only way to go.
