BTW, there are about 650 Best Buys, not 6500. Are you a PFR fan by any chance? |

Yeah, they were my favorite band for a long time. I've really only had 4 favorites bands my whole life: DC Talk, then PfR, then U2, then Radiohead. PfR were my favorite band when I first registered my IM handle, PfR73, and that user name has stuck with me ever since. Are you a PfR fan? I'm still a big fan of them and love their newest CD, The Bookhouse Recordings. You should check it out if you have the chance. |

I've always enjoyed PFR, too, particularly "Great Lengths" and "Them" _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

I thought a lot of the songs on Goldie's Last Day represented a lot of the band's best work ("Satissfied," "By Myself," "Dying Man" etc). I thought the most of the stuff they did when they reunited in 2001 was a bit dissappointing. But they definitely were a fav of mine during the 90s. I did get Bookhouse Recordings. It's Ok, but I still prefer their older material. |

I went to Best Buy and they had not ordered any for some reason. I gave them the tongue lashing they deserved, and then went to Barnes and Noble, which had stocked like 15 copies (here in Ann Arbor). I promptly picked up two and now me and my girlfriend have been basking in the sonic goodness. |

yeah, best buy had 3 copies and they sold out before i got there. so i went to mojo music, and they were sold out too, only i don't know how many they originally had. and circuit city had none so i asked, the guy found one copy and said they had gotten it an hour ago and it's all they had. so i sold them out. _________________ roooooooooooooooar. |

Actually Good Records had a distributor issue and didn't have it Tuesday (as I am sure the previous poster found out the same way I did). Apparently said distributor overnighted their order after Words were said.... I can attest that they did indeedy have a nice stack on Wednesday, though. One less than they had, but that was the whole point wasn't it? RWWH _________________ RWWH Irrepressibly Yours. |

Oh yeah, I checked my Best Buy yesterday. We had about 20 copies, so Austin people shouldn't have any problem (course it also probably means we haven't sold many). BTW, Goldie's Last Day is my second favorite PfR album currently. It used to be my favorite, but for the past several years Them has taken the top spot. |

i went to the bestbuy here on the 11th, and i didn't see any eisley cds on the shelves. i asked an employee about it, and then i waited 15 minutes while he went into the stockroom to see if they had any back there. they didn't, and he said he didn't even think they EVER had any. after searching a gabillion other stores that didn't have it, i finally found it at walmart. go figure. _________________ "Oh, I've definitely done that one before." |

Maybe it's because I'm in LA, but the Virgin Megastore in Burbank had 30+ copies on the New Releases shelf, I didn't even bother to check the Eisley section itself. _________________ |
