I plan on getting it (I was hoping that it would be out by friday so I could get that signed rather than the cd, but it doesn't look like that's happening). The only reason I wouldn't is if it's really expensive. I was at Sonic Boom here in Seattle, it's like 40 bucks to get U2's new cd on vinyl! I assume Eisley won't be that much, but we'll see.

Forty bucks for U2? Yikes, wouldn't want to pay that much for Vinyl unless of course it was Eisley. Circuit City has it for $12.99, and Tower Records is around $15, not bad.

It's hard to believe that people are saying no to Vinyl, it's so beautiful to see the record spin. May Vinyl live forever!

I want an old hand operated crank phonograph; now that would be perfect for listening when the power is out.

I'm wondering if this will be "digital vinyl" or the real deal. You know, sometimes they use a digital master or even a CD as the source for a vinyl pressing and you loose 99% of what makes vinyl so great. I'll be ordering a couple copies regardless but I'm curious as to the details of this pressing. Was it pressed from the analog masters? Did they even use analog masters for Room Noises? Hmmmm...

Good questions for which I don't have the answer. I'm sure Boyd knows. Smile

Brand New has vinyl? I would have started with them...but my dad is transfering his albums to cds. Therefore, it's up to me to save his vinyl because he doesn't understand the whole "record collection" thing.
