speaking of hating mass media.. that makes me want to go on a mini-rant. more than just news outlets displaying very personal pain to the entire world, as if it were even newsworthy in the first place, are those stupid worthless infotainment feature shows like dateline. ugh, as a former journalism student, those shows make me sick. exploiting people's pain in that way. ratings whores. disgusting. what would have been newsworthy is saying "this thing has happened, there is an investigation" followed by something like "new laws may be passed as a result.." blah blah. you know? _________________ hello. |

I just got back from teh hospital. My back is kinda messed up. They Are giving me anti inflamitory pills and pain pills. I hope thye do the trick because I hurt. I was having such a terrible time at hte hospital that I prayed that God could lighten up my day by sending a really hott nurse my way. Then I started laughing because that is a verry silly request. I figured that it wouldnt happen because it is shallow and well pointless. But apperently God found merit in it. Because dang. yeah. _________________

maybe that guy who was chasing her got the number.. man that really pisses me off when people are so spineless that they'd just drive off. my neighbor's girlfriend was the victim of a hit-and-run. she had a concussion and totally lost her sense of smell/taste. i actually witnessed a pedestrian hit-and-run once, i started running towards, to see if she needed help, and it was so awesome, because the car couldn't get away - a group of like 5 dudes chased him down before i got there. _________________ hello. |

the thing about girls drivign is a joke, but I really got hit. My back hurts more today. but that good old codine based pills do the trick, but now I am kinda out of it. _________________

dude u skateboard, i do to. harsh about being hit by some lady in a car! i been there to! but not as bad thank god if i did pray, my prayey thingys are for u! i only bounced off the bonnet, wasnt amazingly bad tho. |

My friend was in the same situation, but some guy drove super fast, pedestrian walk thing was on and all...his ankle got twisted and it hurt like hell. At least the girl stopped to take a look, the guy didn't. Quote: what's the one racing game where you can win the race by running over all of the people running around?

I only run into stationary things, so as long as you keep walking,, everything'll be fine. 
glad you're alright in general, though, shain. way to keep on trucking. and it's also good that you're not allergic to codeine. that stuff really packs a punch if you can handle it and apparently does wonders for almost any ailment. you guys... what's all that that you were discussing earlier about the boat and such? I don't keep up with the news like I should and am completely ignorant on current events as a result. _________________ I highly recommend it. |

The ferry thing? The Staten Island Ferry had a bad accident, several people killed and injured. Bad stuff ... that's it in short. Some reports may have gotten a little too detailed, but that's over with and we can only hope that in the future people decide to save the nasty details for when they count. Umm ...
