 Post subject: wow, Firefox won't let me see the Eisley videosPosted: Thu Mar 10, 2005 5:12 pm 
We got Firefox because we heard it was much faster and better than Inernet Explorer, which in some ways it is, but the other day I realized I could not see so many things, especially disappointing was I couldn't see any videos on the OGG site, and couldn't vote on FUSE. I'm sticking with Internet Explorer even tho it's much slower. Bill Gates does not want us to leave him, according to Fox news. Firefox it's alright..well at least that's what I think. I got both internet explore and firefox. For some reason it's not as fast on my pc  Don't ask why I have both. _________________

i use either safari or firefox for various things, and yeah, a lot of sites with video and whatever won't accept anything other than internet explorer or netscape. a lot of them just won't work with macs. it's annoying. it's just as well the rest of my family still use a PC or i wouldn't have seen the launch vids. _________________ "dial" in Welsh means "revenge". If a welsh speaker enters an English phone booth, having paid the coin/phone card the next command the l.e.d screen throws at the customer is "revenge!" thus setting the tone for a confrontational conversation. If you have the latest Quicktime and Windows Media Player, the videos will work in Firefox. You might check on Firefox's support site and make sure the plugins are being recognized by Firefox for you. Also, make sure you're running a current version of Firefox.
