In Dallas we were all trying to get them to play it and Sherri said "I don't know that song..." and Stacey said "me either".

We were like whaaaaaa??? I wish they would play it though. It's my second favorite song on the Album. Very Happy

They don't have acoustics on this tour, I don't think. My friend said they can't play any songs like Laughing City or Trolley Wood because of so. She did, on the other hand, convince them to play Vintage People.

oh and good luck on yelling them to play Mister Pine, my friend said that didn't work.

Trolley Wood may be my favorite song on the album... hmm not sure. I've never heard them play it live... but I'm sure it would rock.

They play Mr. Pine at almost every show they do(as far as I know)...they're probably a bit tired of it Razz

I think part of the problem is that they've got a set list that they can't change because of the click track that Weston plays to and the backing tracks and whatnot.

But that's just my stupid guess.

that is a really good guess and probably almost entirely true, but they did play Vintage People instead of Memories by request the other night.

i think its because they just released an album, and theyre playing to new audiences, and they only have 30 minutes, so theyre playing new songs.

yes, I agree with this. Gotta push what just came out to the new masses. All that click track/Ipod stuff is probably also true.
I did hear the same thing at the Dallas show (about them "claiming" not to remember Trollywood). I hope they haven't forgotten that song already. I plan on hearing it someday when they headline again.
When you're the opener, you have to scale things down a bit. That's why I'm glad I saw them on the Winter West tour - where they could do THEIR thing.

Hey..regardless of the "set" setlist, I say they break out the e-bows for Trolleywood on their next tour....
