What is this song exactly about, it kind of creeps me out with all the death and knives mentioned...

This is super-early in the band's career, and they've pretty much disowned it completely. You have to admit it does stray quite a bit from their m.o. However, there are some good harmonies and it is obvious it was a stepping stone to the style we know today. I'm pretty sure it is about a sleeping child having a nightmare, and a parent comforting them at the end. Once you read through the words it seems pretty obvious.

Thanks. Why did they disown it, I mean it does stray from happy happy Eisley, but it's an awesome song. I'm going to call it out at the next show.

i asked this same question in one of my first posts and boyd ripped me a new one.

well he was just being sarcastic and or funny.


it said that he used to chase them around with knives when they were young.
