Why get it on vinyl? Is it better sound? Or is it just cool? I'm not sure of a good reason except for the cover art being larger. JD _________________ "Well, hopefully that's our job, to strap rockets onto everything." - Adam Savage, Mythbusters |

JD Hmmm, maybe I'll get one...just so I can be cool, and I have a record player anyway. _________________ Someone peed in my Wheaties Nifty is officially MY word, like Donald Trump has "You're Fired" |

got my black gold a few weeks ago (from Good Records). Yes, larger artwork is a definite plus. Some would say that sound quality is better (a warmer, richer tone). Also, the back cover pic is one that is not in the cd artwork - that's reason enough right there. It's a very cool picture too. Spin the Black Circle people.... i generally only buy releases that are vinyl only, like Richard SWift singles. last week i bought the Beatles Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane single. it was a revealation. the mix is quite different. at the end of SFF when the band is jamming out you can hear John talking and it's not on the CD version unless it is barely audible or something. _________________ I am Torgo.
